Priscilla has received some extra special treatment since she has been in the Smith stables thanks to Nambucca Valley's Ray Bove.....Bove specialises in deep muscle remedial work and he spent yesterday afternoon preparing Priscilla for today's journey. He also works on other gallopers in the Smith stable. "Under his care and with a couple of treatments from me we we got her to win her first race 18 months ago," Bove said. "She jarred up during the Grafton Cup on a hard fast track in July...I worked on her for several days later and she improved straight away." Bove said deep muscle therapy and keeping the horse in top condition had resulted in her strong performance on the track.
